Top Indian 4G operators launching 4G technology in India soon

Read this article to know top Indian operators which are planning to launch 4G technology in India at the end of this year. We know that 4G technology is not released in India yet and many Indian service providers are conducting trails on the existing 3G networks so as to add some modifications in it and derive some fast technology. In this article I will discuss principle and techniques used by companies for launching 4G in India.

As we know that everyday some new product is launched in Indian market. It is electronics and computer's market which produces latest laptops and Smartphone's every day. When I am looking for latest features in HTC Thunderbolt Smartphone then I came to know that it is 4G mobile phone i.e. it will work fine with 4th generation technology but when we are talking about Indian then 4G technology is not yet come to India then how we access the features of 4G Smartphone in India. This question has great depth because 3G technology itself has so many complaints regarding its slow speed in some parts of India. It is Indian service providers whom earlier claim that their data card speed is very fast in comparison with other data cards but actually they all belong to same class.

Now companies like Aircel, Huawei and Qualcomm successfully tested an experiment which works on existing 3G, GSM and CDMA networks. Its growth not only restricted with existing networks but also includes new packages like LTE (4G) TDD and FDD networks. Moreover, many new operators are also conducting trails on 4G release.

In India, customers need fast access to internet connectivity which is equivalent to broadband services in cost effective rate. We are also familiar with the fact that wireless technology is costly because of high costing of 3G spectrum but still operators are putting their efforts to launch 4G technology in India that allows high internet speed in a less price. Many companies claimed that it will be less in cost because its construction is based on existing network infra-structure with slight modifications and spectrum for 4G networks was licensed to operators at much lower cost in comparison to 3G networks.

After getting details of 4G networks, it is confirmed that 4G offers two technologies, LTE and WiMax, both these technologies offers high internet speed of more than 100 Mbps but LTE is mainly preferred when we require backward compatibility which means that a Smartphone which works on LTE networks can also work on GSM, CDMA and other 3G networks.

The problem is with devices that support LTE TDD in India because it is not available right now but it is expected that it will be available soon. It is Qualcomm which confirmed that LTE devices will be available in bulk in the end of this year. Earlier, Aircel and Huawei conducted a world GSM/UMTS/LTE-TDD trail on Aircel existing GSM/3G network in India using Qualcomm multimode chipset and it works fine with it. Now, it is expected that it will be produced in large scale at end of this year. Moreover, Reliance, Airtel, BSNL/MTNL also puts it efforts to conduct trails on both WiMax and LTE networks.

Most companies are going for LTE networks for its fewer quantity in world market but as far as WiMax is concerned then it is already available in international market as a cheap option. Therefore, companies are trying to exploit LTE network technology which is yet to come. We also know that LTE is expensive in comparison with Wimax network. Apart from this,we are hoping that 4G technology will be launched in India soon so that we can experience high internet speed in less price.
